August 29 – Day of Remembrance of Defenders of Ukraine. (29.08.2025)

August 29 is the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, who died in the struggle for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The brave Ukrainian soldiers have become a symbol of dignity, each of them has performed a feat, rebelling against violence and injustice, giving their lives for a new, revived Ukraine. The duty of each of us is to always remember these Heroes who gave their lives defending our state. The memory of our fallen compatriots will always live in our hearts.

The International Maritime Association expresses its great gratitude to all those who are currently defending the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine. We wish that there will be peaceful skies over the Ukrainian land, prosperity and harmony in every home, and that faith in the happy future of our state never fades.
