History International Maritime Association (IMA)

International Maritime Association (IMA) has been founded in 2004, but the final structure and activities were created only in August, 2019, when merging Industrial association (IA) and Association of producers.

In September, 2019 the Memorandum of Cooperation with Saudi Arabia, and in October of the same year the Agreement on association with Merging of Employers of the South of Ukraine and contracts on mutually beneficial cooperation with Administrations of sea and river ports of Ukraine has been signed.

Today, International Maritime Association (IMA) became the leading Ukrainian and international maritime Association representing the different organizations, the enterprises of the sea industry of marine and river transport, the enterprise of fishing industry, the shipping and navigation companies, ports and shipyards. Activity of Association is directed to strengthening and development of the relations and protection of interests of the companies which are members of Association.

International Maritime Association (IMA) to aim to protect and encourage members of Association, to integrate them for possible implementation of joint projects, for public protection of each member of Association and also to help in questions of advertizing and production.
