A team of GloBee volunteers with the support of the International Maritime Association visited Sumy Oblast. (18.04.2023)

Recently, our volunteer team visited Sumy Oblast with a humanitarian mission. The communities of Bilopylla, Pavlivka, Hurynivka, Bublykovo, and Novy Virky received a total of 2,500 food kits, which included:

  • 1 kg of pasta
  • 1 kg of wheat porridge
  • 1 pack of chocolate milk (1700 sets)

Where there was not enough milk, we put:

  • 2 cans of Pepsi
  • 1 can of canned food
  • 1 pack of tea
  • 4 packs of beans

Volunteers visited border settlements and came under threat of shelling, but nothing scared their thirst for a good cause. "We give the humanitarian aid to people, so we go to the last. If our team is in danger, we will wait for a lull," said Mykola, when the head of the Bilopil Administration warned volunteers about shelling the city.

Despite all the difficulties, within one day we distributed almost all the food kits and left 300 kits for the villages that could not be reached.
